Items that were previously located in the “From Students” section have now been migrated here.

We welcome your contributions. If you have something of Ted’s that you’ve transcribed and would be willing to share it, please contact us. We’re interested in anything that you might have written down from Ted’s recordings:  audio recordings, videos (seminars, live performances, or video lessons), excerpts from audio lessons (such as the Mark Levy recordings), etc. These can be in the form of standard music notation, Tab, grid diagrams, PowerTab, and even Midi, Finale, or Sibelius files. If necessary we can help work out the details with you to make it a nice presentation.

Due to the rich harmonies and complexity of Ted’s playing, we understand that there are bound to be errors in these transcriptions. They should be used as a guide to your leaning the pieces, and should be combined with listening to the recording, using your own ears to verify things. This is probably the best way you can get the most out of these transcripts, improve your own ear, and retain the info on a deeper level. The Forums can be a place to report errors, ask questions, or share insights that you gained in the learning process. We want to encourage people to submit things they've transcribed, and not to feel that it has to be absolutely perfect before sharing it (otherwise, who would do so?).
