Ted Greene - Private Concert at Alec Silverman's Home, July 1975
Playing before a group of about 15 guitarists at the North Hollywood home of Alec Silverman, a young 28-year old Ted charms and dazzles them with his lush harmonies, fanciful intros, interludes, and endings, swinging walking bass, modulations galore, conversational inner voice movements and counterpoint, breathtaking waves of shimmering harp-harmonics, and a general mastery of the guitar. Originally recorded on tape, now preserved on digital, it is sure to inspire generations of guitar players. This recording is made available compliments of Mark Thornbury.
